I am... Found| Week 3: Homecoming
Did you know you have are part of a large family? We’re not speaking about your immediate family, nor the people who share your last name and DNA. You are a part of a family of 2.18 Billion people and growing! There are people of all ages, races, countries and languages. There are very few places in this world where you won’t run into a fellow believer. Our family is massive and diverse because God is a creative God and He loves wondrous variety. We are the result of the promise God made to Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky and as uncountable as the sand in the sea.
Abraham could never have imagined seeing so many people as part of his family. He waited 100 years to receive his son Isaac. Yet God was faithful and continues to complete that promise He made. You are part of this family. When God finds you He does not leave you alone but makes you a full member of His family. God loves family and even when your own earthly family may not be the best or it may be difficult to love to know that God added you to his family.
When the Lord returns, it will be the biggest home coming celebration ever! The biggest family gathering of all time where we will get to meet our brothers and sisters from all over the world and celebrate the fact that we are God’s family.
Read and underline the verses on below in your Bible. Write any verses that jump out at you on some paper or a journal, so you don’t forget them.

John 14:1-4 (MSG)
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
Revelations 19:6-9 (NIV)
And I heard something that sounded like a huge crowd, like rushing water and powerful thunder. They said,
“Hallelujah! The Lord our God, the Almighty, exercised his royal power! Let us rejoice and celebrate, and give him the glory, for the wedding day of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. She was given fine, pure white linen to wear for the fine linen is the saints’ acts of justice.” Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Favored are those who have been invited to the wedding banquet of the Lamb.
Luke 15:7 (NLT)
“There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.”
