I am... A World Changer (week 3)

Gates are often the start of a great adventure. They mark the beginning but there is still one more action to be taken before you go through. You have to open the gate.

Open the gate. Change the world.

To be a world changer, the gates God presents need to be opened. Some will be easy and you’ll want to run through. Others, will be difficult and what is on the other side may be scary but if you are faithful and steadfast God will help you through. Because, past the difficulty and the darkness there is a field of great joy that He wants you to experience and share with others.

Once you learn to trust God and open the gates, then you need to go back and help others learn to trust God and open their gates.  Opening the gate is not just about you, but how a world changer changes the world for someone else. It begins with telling others about what God has done in your life and how He helped you open the gate. Its about being an example not only through your words, but through your daily actions

The more you serve, the more you love and the more potential that is unlocked.

Read and underline the verses on below in your Bible. Write any verses that jump out at you on some paper or a journal, so you don’t forget them.

Acts 1:8  (ESV)

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

2 Timothy 1:7-8 (CSV)

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God”

Colossians 4:5-6 (NLT)

5 Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.

Romans 8:31 (NLT)

What should we say then? Since God is for us, who can be against us?”

  • How are you opening the gate for someone else?

  • What are some ways that you can share your faith this week?

  • What would change if you more fully accepted and internalized that you are called to be a witness for God?

  • Take a few moments to reflect and thank God for wanting to know you more
