USE THE KEY

Wisdom is  the key. When determining what your purpose, wisdom is needed. Without it, you are more likely to be swayed by popularity or by others. Wisdom aids in discovering your purpose within God’s plan. Being a World Changer may mean that you must go against popular culture, but God’s wisdom directs real culture.

God’s wisdom reveals purpose.

God’s wisdom strengthens purpose.

God’s wisdom maintains purpose.

God reveals His wisdom through the scriptures, family, and trusted friends. There are many different causes out there clamoring for champions, but not all of them have as eternally lasting effect like those that line up with God’s plan.  To be a World Changer, you first must seek for Wisdom to help you determine your purpose.

Once purpose is clear, you need wisdom to maintain and strengthen it so that focus does not wander away from God’s plans. Wisdom helps to continually rely on God and to keep your purpose at the center of His will.

Wisdom keeps us centered on God’s will.

Read and underline the verses on below in your Bible. Write any verses that jump out at you on some paper or a journal, so you don’t forget them.

1 Kings 3:9-15

“God, the Master, was delighted with Solomon’s response. And God said to him, “Because you have asked for this and haven’t grasped after a long life, or riches, or the doom of your enemies, but you have asked for the ability to lead and govern well, I’ll give you what you’ve asked for—I’m giving you a wise and mature heart.

Proverbs 4:6-7

“Don’t abandon wisdom, and she will watch over you; love her, and she will guard you.7 Wisdom is supreme—so get wisdom.”

James  1:5

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you

Romans 8:31

What should we say then? Since God is for us, who can be against us?”

PERSONAL REFLECTION

  • What do you think God’s purpose for you is?

  • How does it make you feel knowing you can ask for and receive wisdom?

  • Do you have wisdom? How do you know?

  • Take a few minutes to  thank God for the fact that He has offered to give you wisdom if you ask for it.
